Hagaman Memorial Library
227 Main Street, East Haven, CT 06512
Community: New Haven
Description
Teens: pass through the peppermint forest, survive the menace of the molasses swamp & join us for a giant board game event!
Event Details
The community room @ Hagaman Library is being transformed (for one day only!) into a Life-Sized Candy Land playing board, where YOU’LL be the playing pieces, & the prizes will be good enough to eat!
This event is sponsored by the Teen Services Department, but all the creativity, planning, & decorations are being created by dedicated teen volunteers from two of our community service clubs: The Young Adult Advisory Squad (YAAS) and The Junior Teen Advisory Group (JTAG). So how can you thank them for their effort? By signing up for a ticket & enjoying the game!
All middle, high school, and college students are welcome at this event but registration is required (so we don’t run out of candy). All you have to do to sign up is request a TOTALLY FREE ticket from our Eventbrite page—you don’t even have to print it out, your information will be sent directly to the Teen Services Librarian, Miss Sarah. Have questions? Allergies? Are tickets sold out? Email Miss Sarah for more information @ miss.sarah@biblio.org
