Visiting the New Haven Museum
We are excited to welcome you back to the New Haven Museum!
The Museum is following the Reopen Connecticut sector rules for Museums, Zoos and Aquariums as well as monitoring the CDC guidelines. We ask that you assist us in our efforts to ensure a safe and welcoming experience for our visitors and staff by respecting our rules and etiquette guidelines.
The Museum galleries are open by online reservation; walk-ins are welcome. We prefer that you secure your timed entry by completing your reservation online and paying through Eventbrite in advance of your visit. For purposes of contact tracing, it is necessary that you provide us with complete contact information. New hours of operation: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 10 am to 5 pm. The last entry is 4 pm.
Please note:
To schedule an appointment in the Whitney Library, researchers must first contact the librarian directly at library@newhavenmuseum.org or 203.562.4183 ext. 115 to discuss their research project. Appointments must be made through the librarian. The Whitney Library is unable to accept reservations through the Eventbrite ticketing system.
The Museum is cleaned daily on an enhanced schedule. Our staff is cleaning and disinfecting high touch surfaces and bathrooms regularly throughout the day. An inherent risk of exposure to the coronavirus exists in any public space where people are present. By visiting the Museum you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk. By purchasing a ticket, you also agree to abide by the Museum’s rules and guidelines for visitors
