Join the City of New Haven on Thursday, December 1st, 2022 from 5pm to 8pm as the city celebrates the season with the City of New Haven’s Annual Tree Lighting. The New Haven Tree Lighting is a free event kicking off the holiday season in the downtown area. The annual celebration geared to the young and young at heart takes place on the city’s historic Green and features live performances and a variety of children’s activities.
The Tree Lighting Ceremony will feature entertainment, photo opportunities with Santa & Mrs. Claus, and many more surprises for the whole family! This event is family-friendly, and pet-friendly with retail products by local entrepreneurs perfect for holiday gifts. The Holiday Village runs through the weekend.
