Description
Developmental milestones will be reviewed with an emphasis on how much music supports motor skills, speech development, and cognitive milestones.
Event Details
Music-based activities will be discussed and explored. Live experientials will be a component of this session. Participants will have opportunities to engage in music-based play, movement to music, and singing activities that are applicable to young children.
Participants will leave with ideas on how to incorporate music into their classroom, day care facility, or other early childhood settings.
The workshop will be presented by Jona Jeffcoat, MT-BC, Board Certified Music Therapist, Director of Services, Infinity Music Therapy Services.
